Our stay at the Tropicana was very pleasant. The service offered by the front desk was outstanding. We were able to check our bags early and have them held for us. They helped us find our rental car location and called a cab for our daughter to go to the train station. The hotel location was excellent-the best. We were able to walk to everything important. The room was an excellent value for the money charged. The room was not fancy but it was clean, comfortable and got the job done.

Housekeeping was a little inconsistent.

It has a great sized jacuzzi and we enjoy the adjoining rooms with family. I felt the front desk person could have been more friendly but he did help us.

Room was clean and nice, service was good, and location was wonderful!

The room was so small the cot would only fit in front of the door. NOT SAFE!! The breakfast was terrible and the people were rude at breakfast. The bed was never changed in 9 days and was not made so the bottom sheet covered the mattress all the way. We made a mistake and did not book enough days--after 8 days they then charged us their highest rate for that last night. Needless to say, we will go back to the Carousel Inn.

Excellent service. We certainly appreciate the help in switching our rooms and trying to accomodate our family size. Also appreciated the very helpful map / directions. Was disappointed in the continental breakfast (although in no way was it misrepresented) as we had just come from a hotel in San Diego that provided so much more food selections. Our initial reservation was for a standard room. I applied online from which the description of the room was 2 queen beds w/the poss. of a roll-away. Five in our party so I booked that room. When we saw the room it was way too small for our group and actually too small for two queen beds for any one to move around in. Disappointed in that fact and we were very fortunate that a larger room was available for us to switch to because we would not have been able to stay our 3 nights in that standard room.

Less steps to this room then to the resort hotels at disneyland! Right across the street. Recently updated, fairly quiet. Appreciated small refridgerator and microwave in room!

Right across the street from the park, great room right near the pool on the bottom floor. The room was comfortable and clean but the beds where horrible, the matress was stiff and uncomfortable, the blankets where the pits!

Excellent location across from Disneyland. The mattresses were new and were covered with plastic wrap. They were also a little too firm to be comfortable.

The staff was very friendly.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and will do so again. It is very, very close to DisneyLand. I think it is a closer walk to DisneyLand from this hotel than it is from the DisneyLand Hotel.
