we were surprised to discover that, even though the hotel is simple and no-frills (no real lobby, having the full ... bath down the hall, etc) the facilities are extremely clean. Also, the location and the hotel itself are very quiet, although only 2 blocks from a subway. We also found parking on the street overnight and an all-day garage for ~$12 just a block away.
carpets are visibly worn, but the furniture is more what you'd expect in a caribbean cottage, with pineapple patterns, and coral and blue color scheme. There was a sink in the room, a/c, decent tv, small refrigerator, generous closet space. The full bathroom down the hall was spotless, and we never had to wait for other residents to use it.
we would definitely stay there again.
