for a foreigner it is a bit tricky to reach the hotel coming by train and bus. But we liked it very much for being a bit ourside of the centre on one hand and reaching the centre quickly on the other hand.
The Ramada Inn Lake Shore Hotel Chicago is located just south of McCormick Place, across the street from Lake Michigan and Chicago's 20-mile lakefront bicycle and jogging path. It features a seasonal outdoor pool, a restaurant with panoramic lake views, and meeting facilities for up to 500 people.

Ramada Inn Lake Shore Hotel Chicago offers free parking and a complimentary scheduled shuttle to Michigan Avenue, downtown shopping, and sightseeing. The hotel offers 184 guest rooms. Most of the rooms were renovated in 2004.

They switched our rooms without telling us. their reservation management skills were very poor. . Although they said they have wireless internet access in the guest rooms, none of us was able to connect!!!
