This Mediterranean-style hotel was inspired by the village of Portofino on the Italian Riviera. Its offers shops and fine-dining restaurants. Its also features the Mandara Spa, a 12,300-square-foot facility that provides massages, body treatments, and facials as well as a fitness center with treadmills, universal machines, free weights, sauna, and steam room.
Complimentary transportation for guests includes shuttles and water taxis to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and CityWalk, frequently operating from early morning until after midnight. Also, complimentary daily shuttles transport guests to SeaWorld and Wet n Wild.
The hotel guests receive complimentary Universal Express Ride Access (allowing guests to use express theme park lines), as well as priority reservations at "character dining" experiences at the hotel's restaurants, and priority seating at select Universal Orlando restaurants and shows.
