We had one issue. We were upgraded to a very nice larger room with a spa tub, but it was on a corner spot facing the freeway. My wife is a light sleeper and the traffic noise kept her awake. When we told the staff, they acted immediately and moved us to a nice quiet room, facing the pool. The things that impressed us the most were the friendly helpfulness of the staff and the excellent food in the dining room (especially the Sunday brunch buffet). The location was great, with easy access to the freeway and shopping. We will certainly stay at the Monarch Inn again.
