The Pros: very good location just behing the Kodak theatre, very quite street. staff are friendly and helpfull. Free parking, large rooms, free internet wifi and LAN. The cons: No elevtor to second floor, the bathrooms are poor and not convenient (no shelf). the breakfast place has not seating, foos shouild be carried to the room.

I was in town for business and spent 2 sleepness nights at this hotel. First of all, the hotel has 2 floors without an elevator and upon checking into the hotel I had to carry both of my bags while trying to open the hotel door without any help from the staff who just looked on as I struggled. Next, the rooms needs a slight renovation...old molding and old tub with old furniture. The bed was very comfy however that didnt matter much as I could not sleep because of the noise! I literally heard the people above me walking up and down their room. I heard everytime someone came in or went out. I heard when people checked in and checked out! I also heard the people who from the building behind the hotel screaming and partying all times of the night! I was not prepared for this. I read the hotel reviews and was surprised that none of these issues were listed. The best thing about the hotel was the location. You can take a 2 minute walk to the Kodak and Chinese Theatre and Hollywood Blvd which was great. I would only recommend this hotel to someone who is in town to have a good time and will not spend too much time in their room.

The hotel was in a great location, right next door to a shopping complex, the metro and the chinese theatre. The hotel was basic but very clean, decent breakfast, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. would definately stay again.

Hotel is in good position for tourists, all staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice continental breakfast. (suggestion -a small food tray could be provided for carrying breakfast.)

Booked on the net. Unsure of what to expect but really pleasantly surprised. Hotel superbly well located - one street behind Hollywood Boulevard.
Staff were both courteous and efficient- VERY friendly and obliging service.
The room and amenities were perfectly adequate. Servicing was quick, clean and efficient. The breakfast arrangement -off the foyer- was quite adequate- in fact better than most hotels of similar size that we stayed in within U.S.A.
A little issue which staff might like to address. As it is an "older" building which has been refurbished,the floor between the first and lower floors is wooden- and as a consequence, the noise from above DOES travel. DO NOT place famililies with children on the first floor- restrict them to the lower level- so that other guests are not incommoded by the inadequate parental supervision of young children who seemed to view the bedrooms as a playground!
Not withstanding this issue- which really was one of inadequate parental supervision and insufficient regard for other guests- not the fault of hotel staff- we would unhesitatingly recommend Hollywood Celebrity Hotel.

The hotel was great, much better than I expected and it was in a great location. I will certainly come back and also recommend it highly to all my friends. The room was great, only thing I would have liked would have been a toaster and coffee maker but everything else was great. Very comfortable room.
