This is my ninth visit to Washington, D.C. and my seventh stay at this hotel. I love this hotel for its closeness to the White House and the Mall. I love to walk so there is not a distance problem as I've read other people had. The neighborhood this hotel is in is just great. You feel safe and can take walks during the evening without fear of getting mugged. I can't say enough of good things about the hotel staff. They are just great and most helpful in many ways. I love the restaurant and the food has even gotten better since my last stay in 2003. If I can't get reservations for this hotel I will not got to D.C. That is how great this hotel is for me. Had a great stay and I am looking for to return.

When I made reservations for a Holiday Inn in DC during April, I thought that there might be middle and high school kids running up and down the hallways all night. This was not the case though and we had a nice, quiet stay. The parking under the hotel is easy, not cheap, but worth it. There is a Whole Foods right around the corner and I would walk down each morning to buy breakfast to take back to the family.
