This was the first time my husband and I have ever attended Mardi Gras. We were not familiar with the French Quarter and my reason for selecting this hotel was because of the location, just one block off from Bourban and 2 blocks from Canal and the parade route. What a perfect location!! We would walk to Bourban Street, go back to the hotel to rest, and use the bathroom and then go back out on Bourban. During the parades we again could go back and forth to our hotel. Even though it was too cold to swim, the pool area and courtyard was very quaint and inviting. Even though it was during Mardi Gras it was always quiet which made it easy to get some much needed sleep. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to my friends.
