what was good:
- room ready when we arrived at 11:30am - no fuss!
- great double room, ground floor, with harbour view
- wired and wireless internet access free
- good tv, with channel guide
- free coffee available all day - enjoy it in the secluded courtyard garden
- wonderful location: fells point in not in the absolute centre of the city, but links by a water taxi. Don't let this put you off! fells point is wonderful on its own - restaurants, galleries, ice cream shops, parks
- free bottle of wine - we asked for champagne, and they gave us a nice cava
- breakfast included, buffet style - fresh fruit, breads, cereals, juices - as much as you like, again in the courtyard garden
- friendly staff - we were having coffee in the garden, and they decided we might be hot, and so brought out some iced water
i have no 'buts' or 'howevers' to add to this review: a great hotel.
[the cherry on the icing on the cake is that the building used for the great us tv series 'homicide: life on the street' is around the corner. If you can't get to the hotel, watch the tv series!]
