Take US 101 north to interstate 80 east and follow signs to the Bay Bridge/downtown. Take a 4th street exit (last SF exit). Go straight 1 block to 3rd street and turn left onto 3rd street. Continue north in the left lanes and cross market street and 3rd becomes Kearny street. Immediately turn left onto Geary, follow 3½ blocks past Union Square. The Maxwell hotel is located at 386 Geary, the corner of Geary and Mason - on the right hand side of the street.
