1. Fairmont Rooms are located on floors two to six of the 6 story historical Palisades Wing or on floors two through four of the 10 story ocean tower. All rooms have been redesigned to harmonize with the surrounding landscape. Subtle hues of blue and green compliment the decor in all of the Fairmont rooms. Rooms in the ocean tower include a furnished balcony to relax and unwind. Rooms in the Palisades Building are oversized and decorated in a more traditional style.Includes one king or two double beds ranging from 250 - 425 sq. ft.The viewa are limited or obstructed garden or city views. 2.All Fairmont Deluxe rooms are located on the 10th story Ocean Tower combining the elegance of a beachside estate with a relaxed californian style. All rooms and suites offer a furnished balcony where guests can enjoy warm ocean breezes and picturesque sunsets. All rooms have been redesigned to harmonize with the surrounding landscapes with subtle hues of blue and green complimenting the decor. Please note that these rooms cannot accommodate a rollaway.It includes one king or two double beds ranging from approximately 250 sq. ft.The views are of the Pacific Ocean facing north towards Malibu or south to the Santa Monica Pier and Catalina Island. 3. The signature bungalow rooms are located in the lush tropical gardens of the hotel.The Signature Bungalows offer an exclusivity that is unparalled. Spacious rooms come with hardwood floors, french windows, entertainment systems, including CD, cassette player and stereo. Oversized bathrooms are decorated with italian marble and large soaking tubs. Selected bungalows have a private patio where guests can relax and is perfect for entertaining . It includes one king or two double beds ranging from 305 to 445 sq. ft. The views are of lush gardens. 4.The Tower Suites are located on the top floor of the ten story Ocean Tower building. Each suite has two furnished balconies where guests can enjoy warm ocean breezes and incredible coastal views. A separate bedroom and parlor area are separated by french doors. Each suite has two televisions, two telephones, full wet bar, BOSE Wave radio/CD player. The suite also offers a marble bathroom with separate bath and shower.It includes one king bed ranging from 485 sq. ft. The view is of the spectacular coast of Malibu to the north and also the Santa Monica pier and Catalina Island to the south. 5. The Palisade Suite is located in the Historic Palisades wing and these luxury suites offer the elegance of a european manor with dark woods and crown moldings. All suites offer a large parlor area and separate bedroom. The parlor area has a dining table, wet bar, television, and two telephones, perfect for entertaining. All suites have a luxury marble bathroom which has a separate bath and vanity area.It includes one King bed, double sofabed in the living room ranging from 445 - 890 sq. ft.The views are of the garden or city. 6. The bungalow suites were built between 1920 and 1946, and offer five luxurious suites surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Four suites have private saunas and these suites also have a table and desk, balcony and stereo system.It includes one king or two double beds in the bedroom, sofabed in living room. It ranges from 575 to 850 sq. ft.The view is of the lush gardens.

There is no complimentary shuttle service between the hotel and the airport.However we offer a complete coordination of transportation needs through our Concierge at (310) 576-7777 ext. 3951.The hotel is pleased to offer the services of Budget Car Rental located on the lobby level of the hotel. All types of vehicle are available from convertible to sports cars to luxury sedans. The Concierge will gladly make all your car rental arrangements.
Q3.  How much should I expect to pay for a taxi transfer from the airport to the hotel?
The cost is approximately $25.00 to $35.00 one way between airport and hotel.
Q4.  Can you give the detailed directions from the Airport to your hotel?
Head east on Century Blvd. Take the 405 San Diego Freeway North. Transfer to the 10 Santa Monica Freeway West. Exit at Fourth Street and then turn right (heading North) on Fourth. Make a left turn on Wilshire Boulevard, heading west. Pass Second Street, the hotel will be on the right-hand side. From Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) via Surface Streets.Head North on Sepulveda Blvd. (#1). Bear left, the left 2 lanes will become Lincoln Blvd. (#1) North. Proceed north on Lincoln Blvd. through Marina Del Rey for about 7 miles. Make a left turn on Wilshire Blvd. heading west for approximately 7 blocks. Pass Second Street, the hotel will be on the right-hand side.
