On the first night we had a room facing the local nightclub which was extremely noisy until 2am.

We were moved to another room and were entirely happy with the rest of the stay.

A coin-operated laundry was supposed to be available on the second floor according to the information given. However it is no longer available. This information should have been updated. Cleanliness is a considerable importance. Very pleased with free internet access in the room. Also nice to have the coffee maker and beverages provided.

Slight inconvenience to have the property split up into two blocks. You check in one block and may have to carry your luggage across the street to the other. Although my business was downtown, it was easy to catch a cab from the Holiday Inn Fisherman's Wharf to downtown each day. I am really grateful for the Wi Fi Internet free hook up for my laptop in the room. It allows me to work in the room as if I were in my office back home.

we had to wait a long time to check in - too few staff on reception; the concierge was only partly helpful with information about public transport

The booking in staff were very abrubt even though it was not busy as to rush them. The drinks machine on our floor was empty the whole stay
