My mistake;

I missed my plane and arrived a day late; even though the airline allowed me to catch the next day's flight without loss, The hotel wouldn't and I couldn't afford to stay another day. A three day trip (with a planned trip to another island) became a two day trip with no side trip.) I called the hotel immediately after missing the flight in Houston and was told I couldn't change it at all and would be charged for the day I wasn't even there. This was MANY hours before check in time and I think it was very unfair. As I noted in the title, it was my mistake, but I will never stay there again, or recommend it.
