Great Place to Stay

The Ananheim Plaza is a great place to stay. It was a convenient walk to Disneyland. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The rooms and grounds were beautiful.

We wish that the hotel could provide free breakfast as what other hotels nearby do. I requested for a room with microwave oven but unfortunately we were told that it was subject to availability only upon our arrival even though the booking was done at least 3 weeks before our arrival. The hotel staff was nevertheless very helpful in getting one for us. We were then transfered to another room (a family suite). Unknown to him, this room was actually not ready for occupancy as they had just shampoo the carpet. A "blower was still in the room (which was left ajar)to dry the carpet. We had to wait for quite sometime for the cleaning personnel to take away the "blower". I decided to call the hotel service hotline to remind them of this after waiting for about 1.5 hours. I told him that the carpet was also still damp. As we were already so tired & jet lag after the 16 hours flight, we decided not to complaint further as we do not wish to be transfered to another room again. We were given a fan to be placed in the room to dry the carpet. Hence, we had to bear the unpleasant damp smell of the room thoughout our 6 days stay in the hotel.
